StoneWright Bee Removal and Rescue Service!!
2012 has been a great year. We have added 5 bee hives to our bee farm and all the bees are already making honey!! If you are interested in some of our farm raised honey or some “Wild” honey from one of our rescue hives click here: Buy Honey
We have also started offering bee removal and rescue services resulting from numerous calls regarding bee swarms or bees in structures. We have added this service to our general contracting business, StoneWright Home Services, LLC. WE REMOVE BEE HIVES AND RELOCATE THEM TO OUR FARM IN NORTH CAROLINA.
If you have bees in a tree or in your home or business give us a call. Many bee removal services only remove bees from your property, however, we specialize in removal and repairs. We will give you an estimate to remove and make any needed repairs. We do not leave you to find another contractor to put your home or business back together. We are a licensed NCGeneral contractor and fully insured.
The average bee removal from a structure (wall, roof, soffit, floor, etc) takes 6 to 8 hours to remove the bees and then several more hour to complete the repair.
Call 704-577-4323 for free estimate or email us at bees@stonewrighthomeservices.com. We serve Gaston, Mecklenburg, Lincoln, Cleveland, Rutherford, and York Counties. We will also travel to any location in NC and SC for a structural hive removal and repair.

I get this question often. When clients call their local extermination company and find that they refuses to kill the honey bees that have invaded their home or business. So why do we save honey bees? Honey bees have been in decline for many years due to colony collapse syndrome and other pests. Many think that is not a problem because they see honey bees are pests and on top of that they sting!! Honey bees are by no means, pests! They are God’s creatures and he created them to pollinate our flowers, vegetables and trees. With out honey bees we could not enjoy all that great food you find at your local farmers market or grocery.
You would be surprised to know that if you exterminate a hive and leave all the comb with brood and honey in your home or business you will have a bigger problem than having the bees. A dead hive will spoil and attract other pests such as ants, roaches and mice. Honey will be released from the comb and begin to run down your walls or ceilings. If you exterminate a large population of bees and leave the dead in your walls or roof, in a few days you will be wondering about the dead animal odor that could last for weeks.
Our goal is to save the honey bees and your property. We rescue the bees and relocate them to our bee farm in the Crowders Mountain area of Gaston County or to one of our partner farms. We then remove all the honey comb, clean the area and seal it to reduce the chance of a re-infestation in a future year.
If there is honey in your hive we also bottle a few jars so you can have some of the sweet gold produced by your own bees!!
